Question Looking for Multifunction Tool

Just contacted local Chrysler Dealer, gave me a quote for 109.00 dollars for this tool. Any suggestions where I can find one more reasonable? (local MB dealer not helpful)

Here are some comments that were posted a while back....
<https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum/crossfire-roadster/39718-multifunction-tool.html>.....it seems as though E-bay is the way to go.

Good luck.

If you can cut and file one from metal, here's the sizes, it's .135 thick, 1/8" is close enough.

Here are the two variations I have had, I gave the second one away.

If you are really lucky, you may find yours in the pocket on the bulkhead between the seats, others have and it had been there since the car was new.

Great Stuff, will start forging one (at work ) tomorrow, should the sharp end be 40" or 4 mm
I assume a piece of 1/4 plate- 12 inch by 3 inch can be used to shape the multi tool

Well the ink ran a bit and the .40" dim'n. looks like 40". The post says 1/8", I forgot it on the drawing, getting old.
One post on here has these made for $50 Canadian.
Heck $50 gets my original.

Does anyone know for sure that the tool for the convertible is identical to the tool that came with the coupe?

These are the shapes of the tools that came with the Crossfire, at least the two that I have had.

Top is Chrysler part #5140795AA
or Mercedes part #A 193 899 02 80

Bottom is Chrysler part #5127223AA or Mercedes part #A 193 899 03 80

Also attached is the drawing of the CLK tool, it has the 6mm Allen key attached to it. As put on the forum by Top Hydraulics.

My new to me roadster did not come with one. I confirmed each 10mm boxend wrench that I have worked OK for opening the decklid and lifting the top. It did not have to be especially thin to work though the slot makes it look like it does. I had a longer and thinner than average SnapOn 10mm that does work better so I will store that in the cab along with a right-sized screwdriver. Thanks for the YouTube video. I used that and could not find a position that required a special offset for the wrench. Every position worked fine.

This makes even more sense:
A single tool that combines the 10 MM for the tonneau, and the 6 mm hex for the bow lock -
Search SiteSearch Key - 2088990080 - KEY - ES#1746403
