Default xfire oil change requires blood sacrifice

I can't believe I did it again. Last year changed the xfire oil with Amsoil Euro Synth 5w-20w and while wiiping the filter journal with paper towels to remove the ugly bairly tainted oil, I cut my index finger again giving me instant flashback to last year's change when I did the same, cleaning the threads on the runout at the bottom...Now I worked as a QA inspector at a machine shop right out of high school and know better than to let let the runout not be filed or at least have the edge broken. But did I put rags in place and dress the threads or did I say F....orget it maybe I'll remember next year. Anyway clean oil plus a couple a drops of O+. After writing this maybe I'll remember next year. Or maybe I'll drink the BEER after the work instead of during. Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahg.

Obviously Blaze Red is the Best, (HowardJ) but I haven't driven that may miles on the DWS contis. So far I feel that was the best tires for my daily driver. My wife drives 2 mi to work and then I take weekenders for fun. I never drove hard on the oem's because we got it with 15 k and the wear bars were close and the rubber looked cracked. These new conti's are different than the crap that came on the car. I drove through light rain and high wind last weekend and felt so confidenident that I always had to keep checking the clock. Quiet and smooth- better than when I got it for sure. I'm not an all out driver but still want some real grip when I want it. These conti's have not squeaked. I will do a real write up when I have some miles and some time.

When I finally had enough brake dust I finally did the brake pad change to Rotex and got some cheap jack stands. If you carefully position your floor jack on the xfire jack pad and position your stand on the same pad you can lower and be safe on your stand using the same jack point.

If you're sure you're O+ then it shouldn't be a problem. But, if you're really an A, B or AB .....the Crossfire may have a reaction.
