Default I'll be picking up my 2005 Crossfire next week on Thursday!

I went to get my car serviced (2006 Sebring Drop Top), and I took a walk through the car lot. That was a mistake. They has 2 roush Mustangs, a Saleen Mustang, 2 SRT-8 Challengers, and a Viper. Well, they were all just a little too expensive for me right now. Then, i saw her, my Crossfire. She was sitting right next to a mustang. The car is MINT. The dealership has all the service records, and did all the service. It was never hit, and the body and interior are mint! They were asking 13,995.00, and she has 40K miles for a 2005.

I have already bought 3 cars from them, and I am buying this one for cash. The owner of the dealership told me that it needs 4 tires, brakes, a blinker switch, and the side view mirror joystick. We talked and he is going to throw in 4 new tires, do the brakes (new rotors and pads) and he is fixing the switches for the blinker and mirrors. And, he is throwing in an extended warranty. So, I went for it.

What do you think? I'm psyched for getting this bad boy!

These are the dealers pics:

Looks good. I might make one suggestion..... Since they are going to put new pads and rotors on it, see if they will put ceramic pads on instead of the OEM ones. The OEM pads are really bad for brake dust. Especially on the front wheels. If they do not want to do that, I would recommend that you go ahead and buy the ceramic pads yourself and take to them to put on with the new rotors. You will be much happier in the long run. The 2 most popular brands of ceramic pads for this car are Akebono and Rotex Gold. Both are great choices. I went with Akebono's and have not seen a speck of brake dust since. With the OEM pads, the front wheels would be nasty after a day of driving.

Goodluck, and welcome to the forum.

That is a real good suggestion. I had that problem big time with my Sebring. The front alloys were always black. The dealership would not change to other pads, so I went to my local Midas (I know the guys there well) and had them do the brakes. No more dust now.

Unfortunately, I live in an apartment now, so I can't really work on my cars anymore.

Looks like a great car and a great deal ! Is it my imagination, or do the headlight covers look cloudy?
Anybody else? Might be reflections ..... just my $0.02

They are cloudy, but that will also be attended to. No worries there. I brought that up with the dealer.

That is easy to fix, if the dealer does not get them 100%---I used the 3M headlight kit, and it worked great. Just follow the directions, and they will look like new!

I'll pick one up just in case. I'm too obsesive compulsive to live with that! (smile)

But, I have faith in this dealership. They have been very good to me.

I agree with JimmyJames. The 3M headlight restoration kit is probably the best one out there. Can be bought at reasonable price on eBay.

I've also used the CCP headlight restoration kit and gotten similar results. It can be found readily available & purchased off Amazon.com.

Car looks to be a great find. I know you'll enjoy driving it as much as the rest of us. Welcome to this forum.
