Default dissapointment

I became a crossfire collector after my exposure to them. I have experience in other fields of collecting. From MG's to motorcycles. It has taken little time and effort to exhaust this hobby. I have several cars with luggage, covers, advertisements and strategic parts. i have found model cars, built and played with those. I work on my cars doing maintenance, repair, minor mods and updates. No place to race them so I don't. I now own a museum dedicated to preservation of these cars. What's next? It's Winter with salt. No driving. MG's are parked too. Gary

buy a honda civic, a k20 motor and an ebay turbo kit. Fast enough to have fun in, cheap and undesirable enough to romp on with no regrets.

Buy a high mileage daily driver Crossfire with snow tires for the winter months. They are cheap enough and no need to worry about salt. A real enthusiast should know how they drive and handle in ALL weather conditions.

I have a Blue coupe that I work out. However I use a PT Cruiser on the salt and ice. The right tool for the job. Gary
I have no need to sacrifice the car.

That's what we have for our DB, a 2003 PT GT 5speed.

Take it to the next level. Arado please send me a PM with a list of all you have and prices you want and you can become a broker instead of a collector or curator. Only half kidding. Maybe by the time you compose the extensive list, you could just wait till March to begin the cleaning and polishing again.

Thanks for bringing back the memories and the joys of collecting and restoring cars. For the novice in this area here is a word of caution, I always spent much more money then I ever made on the cars. They can be real money pits. I guess the same is true of track cars, off wheel vehicles, gambling, horse racing, showing dogs, or any hobby.
