Default Any Window Tinting Advice??

Well Ive been holding off BUT have decided to get the windows tinted. Ive always had tinted vehicles but didn't want to compromise on this unique car. Is there any advice on getting the windows tinted on the Crossfire? Has anyone considered that Auburn colored tint that Ive seen on Mercedes or is graphite tint better? Im wanting a Mercedes quality tint job and I will keep it at the legal limit so I won't get a "tint-ticket". Advice?

I did mine 5% on the back and the two small side windows, since the meter the cops up here in AK use actually goes on the edge of the window and can only read the outer centimeter or so... then on the two doors I did 35% which I think is the legal limit here. I did just normal black tint... looks fine to me :-D

Be careful in your tint selection. Was at the dealer several months ago. Talked about a guy who was having trouble with radio reception. Determined that it was due to the the REAR WINDOW tint. Not sure, but believe they mentioned a metallic tint(?) that had been put on, or the tint was too dark. At any rate, it affected the radio reecption.

i have llumar 50% charcoal on my crossfire. imo the lighter tint versus the dark dark looks classier (allows the shine to continue down the side of the car) without looking pimped.

Exactly, the last thing we Crossfire owners need is to look pimped. Too many pimp rides on the streets and we gotta remain free of this homeboy look.
Andrew, can you see out good at dusk or night? I like the way your tint looks. I will probably go legal on front sides and darker on small windows and rear. Thanks to everyone on the info

during the day when it is sunny out you really can't even tell the windows are tinted unless you know what to look for. at night or when it is overcast out you can tell the windows are tinted. the pictures of my car make the tint look much darker than it is b/c of the darker back drop not allowing the light to shine completely through the car. i have 50% on all the windows....this is what i like...my interior is black therefore the tint looks a tad darker as well. 50% is the lightest tint available and is the only percentage legal in ohio. looking out of the car you can't even tell the glass is tinted. hope this helps.

I dont wanta "gangsta" tint lol... I like andrews it really defines the window shaping when you make the window itself darker! I also HATE "pimp" looking rides... probably why I hate Cadi's and BMW's so much... cuz every wanta be thug from the suburbs of Michigan drives these ... shiny rims + heavy tint is not my thing... its ugly... but tinting the windows somewhat on the xfire does make it look even better!
