Dumb question.
Got crossfire back. Dealer could not find anything wrong after reset of tcm fault code. So the question could running the car through a brushless was that treats the under carrige be causing the fault by getting the input or output sensors too damp.

Here is a hint, if you start a thread on a problem you will be better served if you keep all your comments on that thread.
I had to look at your previous posts to see the history of your problem.
I cannot help I'm afraid, sorry.

Yeah I guess that would have helped to keep on the same thread sorry. I certainly agree that I don't believe that going through a wash would be more than driving through rain. I am just grasping at straws since its the only common denominator in the fault sequence.
Just from what I have been reading on the post, it seems like the Input and Output sensors on the transmissions are sensitive to oils, fluids and the like I thought it might have been an option. But I guess I will keep driving it this weekend and see.
When it acts up, (My problem that is) it seems like I place the car in reverse and it hesitates to engage, also then going into drive you get a hard bump as it engages. It acts like in limp mode but no check engine light. After soft reset (turning ignition key off then on) it fixes for a mile or so then the crossfire goes into full limp mode. I have read two ways to clear this fault.
A) Turn the car on and off up to 10 times and the sensors should reset or
B) Disconnect the Negative battery cable for a few moments.
I was just asking y'all if any ideas. I wish I knew more about these little cars. It reminds me of my Triumph days. I used to have to work each weekend on the TR-7 and Spitfire to keep them going. LOL Sports cars I guess.
Anyway thanks for you help and thoughts. I told the dealer I am am member of a great forum that is teaching me a lot. Perhaps all dealers/service departments should join this site.

Zip, back in the 70's I also had a TR-7 .....traded in a '73 Triump GT-6 MK III for more than I paid for it to get that TR-7....later traded in the TR-7 for more than I paid for it to get a new Vette. The GT-6 was like a hard top Spitfire (hatch like the XF) ...but with a 2L 6 cyl. Kinda wish I would of never let that GT-6 get away.

Sorry, but I believe that is the obligatory response when one reveals that he owned a TR-7. I actually liked them. I still do. I always wanted a white coupe.
I also owned a 67 GT-6 MK I and a 68 TR250. Knowing what I know now I would have bought a MK II and made it look like a MK I. And I woulda held onto the TR250. It's actually worth a few bucks. And are truly hard to find. I just never dug the looks. But I loved that little GT-6. That car was my my primary attraction to the Crossfire. Something about sitting in an XFire with it's low roof, and tiny windows brought me back to when I owned that quirky little Triumph. I always thought It looked like a Jag XKE. The Crossfire reminds me of a tiny Astin Martin Vantage. Either way... hog heaven.
Yeah The Triumphs were awesome. We had our first TR-7 when I was growing up. Guy got rid of it trying to chase wiring problems. Got it for like a grand and 10 Min later we drove it home. I bought the Spitfire from a co worker. Same deal but I only paid $250 for it. New electric fuel pump and we drove it home.
I (ASSUME) the dealer checked the transmission level since they said they did a 30 point check, (However) I will call and check today just to make sure.
About to drive it to breakfast. Will keep yall informed. Until I find out different I will just hand wash only the car. Something I should have done anyway. But they stated they traced all the electric wires and checked the sensors. So now Engine Light, is a good Engine Light.

'zip', I frequently take mine through the touchless car wash with no ill effects..... unless you have a major failure(i.e. big holes or breaks) of the enclosures for the electronics the car wash should be a non-issue....
If you are disconnecting the battery for resets I think it needs to be in the order of 30 mins or more for the systems to reset to defaults....
