Default Redundant system

I just bought a set of tire pressure indicating valve stem caps for my recently acquired coupe. It has functional TPMS. It occurred to me if the TPMS light comes on I stop and look at the caps to determine which wheel has an issue. Not always easy to do. So they do more than fill a pre flight function. Gary

I've always used a tire pressure gage. It cost $2 way back when air was free at the gas station and it still works.

How about the guy who heard air was free at the gas station and blew out all 4 tires.
