need soldering and a gluegun. I have done it. Seats needed to be taken out. Takes you about 3 hrs a seat the first time.
I do not but go there as if. And state that others have.

1) With the key in the ignition switch in any position except ON or START, buckle the driver's seat belt.
2)Turn the key to ON and wait for the chimes to stop.
3)Unbuckle, then buckle the driver's seat belt 3 times, ending with buckled.
4)Turn the key to any position except ON or START and wait for a sinlgle chime which indicates the reminder chime is off. (This may take up to ten seconds.) The initial chime will still sound when you start the car, but the repeating reminder chime will not.
An electrical system disconnect or repeating the above sequence will reinstate the chime. For the seat belt light which remain on, I recommend a strategically placed circle of tape.
This solution will stop that annoying chime and will not require any mod to any electrical wiring. Easily reversable and when you trade it in its safe for the next owner by resetting (disconnect battery negative cable or use the sequence again). My ending chime sequence was different but the result was the same. NO MORE CHIME when I move the car a few feet, thats great! Try it, it works!
[quote=onehundred80]He's asking about the seat repair, not the chime.
Yeah I was. Screw the chime I just want my heated seat bottoms to work. Thanks for the link onehundred80 but I was hoping for a how to from someone who's done it with pics included. Instructions are nice (if they're well written) but a step by step with pics by someone who's done it and can explain it in an idiot proof way is priceless.
