Reminds me of an older British car... Love the raw sound.

Mike, I'm in the reserves now... I've had enough of the steady stuff for now. The name doesn't ring a bell.. I'm in Noble county Ohio, if that helps at all..

After listening to your video, it reminded me of a favorite video I shared on my facebook - at the time I was going thru a Jaguar phase, but without the Jaguar lol Anyway I think your Crossfire sounds great

You'll do fine here unless you start comparing the XF to a Bentley.

Sounds good! I like mine too. Its a bit deeper tone but maybe not quite as loud but hard to tell from a video and you can feel a difference. I lost a little low end but the mid and high are a 100% improvement. I do find myself shifting a little earlier as to not hear the vibration of my heat shields, lol. Guess I need to figure a way to tighten them up? Good job though

Thanks all.... Tomorrow I'm changing her oil and filter.. might run over to the store and see if I can get the correct socket for the valve covers since my drivers side leaks in the front lower part.. hoping I can just snug it up a little and seal it off.. Been spending most of the day looking up various things to do to the car to get some more power out of it and it's really exciting to see it all..

One suggestion, be very careful how tight you tighten the covers up. The torque is very low, in the inch pounds. Folks have broken things!

Did this to my roadster and I love it.
Love the quietness (?) of my coupe cuz people wonder how I just waxed them with such a quite car.

There's not many people around here with car's that have a chance against me in my area. so it's not much worry.. I've had trucks that are tempted but it's a joke... I lost the sleeper quality but really there isn't a need for it around here anyways. It's still fairly quiet on the interstate but it does have a little drone but I'm ok with it. I just really love how loud it gets when you jump on her, plus when it's a city area with buildings you can hear the exhuast just bouncing off buildings.

Graphite- I've read that those bolts are made with a pre set break point.. and I don't beleive it, I've seen lots of things made to do one thing and fail completely.. I am just hoping for and 1/8th turn maybe to try to seal it. If not I will remove the covers and have a go at sealing it correctly. this is just my first step at trying to seal it up..

Sorry to dig up a dead thread, but -- I did the muffler delete on my NA about 14 months ago and today I started getting a check engine light for cat failures on banks 1 and 2. I'm under the impression there is an 8 year/80,000 mile warranty for cats, but afraid the missing muffler may void that. Anyone else had issues?
