I had a feeling.. lol. CPS isn't always CPS .. passenger front side of the motor if I'm not mistaken.. about as close as I can get you off hand..

Thanks for the info. Could this also be the reason why I've noticed the engine getting a little noisier? The car started up fine today, but the check engine light was obviously still on.

To quote a member.. "Bosch or walk".. that can be home or away from the counter.. whichever way fits ya best.. LOL

Yeah, I noticed a cheaper Hamburg Technic(did some research and everyone says they are the cheapest of the cheap parts) for $57, but here is a Bosch one for $80 that seems to fit the corresponding MB vehicles that the Crossfire shares engines with. For some reason I can't find the Bosch part that actually lists the Crossfire under the fitment guide.

Nevermind, found one cheaper by looking at an old thread and googling the part number on the Bosch box...

Genuine Bosch Cam Position Sensor 0232103037 Mercedes on eBay!
