Default Manual or Revised Spoiler Activation

I've owned my Crossfire coupe for six years now, and from day one I've wondered what it would take to make the spoiler stop going up and down every time I cross that arbitrarily low speed limit. I like the fact that it stays retracted most of the time, but I figure that it is needlessly wearing itself out - plus at a 75 -80 cruise I think it likely increases drag.

I have the factory shop manuals - bless those Chrysler folk for making these things three volumes and six inches thick - and have not been able to track down how this thing is controlled. I would love to just raise the speed when it deploys, ie, over 80 say, or just have a manual switch.

Surely someone has done this?

Thanks for the replies.
I checked the Index of Crossfire Problems before I posted. Went back & checked twice - still can't find any articles on how to wire in a manual switch. Ditto for the link under "Spoiler Activation". A lot of discussion, but I couldn't find a link to how you would actually wire in the switch. Would be great if I have just missed a post where someone has gone before - As my ol pap said, "I'll copy a good idea in a heartbeat" !

Am I just not finding the right link?
