I think we need one thread to consolidate all of the oil sales going on - what say our Mods?

I'll go first, just heard about it, but my Local Advance Auto has Castrol Edge Full Synthetic for $8.99 a quart and it's buy one, get one free thru today only !

This stuff has 229.3 and 229.5 on it and it shows up on the current list (provided by GraphiteGhost here: https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...oved-oils.html ) as well, in 0W30, 0W40, 5W30, and 5W40.

 

O Reillys has mobil syn on sale $4.99 a Qt but not mobil 1 dont know whats the differance !!! I use this in my toyota 4x4 0-20 mobil syn

 

Mobil 1 0w40 at the local O Reillys $5.99 QT. They only had 9 qts but were glad to order by the case at that price. Next morning delivery pick up at the store.

 

Sooo.... I strut into O'Reilly's.. "Mobil 1 on sale.. hope you got 8 quarts of 0w 40" as I walk by the counter... get to the oil.. sure enough.. 8 quarts.. salesman helps me carry it to the counter.. "That'll be $78...yada yada" as I'm handing him the cash... Recoil reflex pulls the money back.. "Huh?".. 8x6 is 48 last time I checked.. We looked through the flyer.. not there.. Hmmm.. and yes sales are nation wide..

Somebody got some splaining to do here...

 

Sorry man. 1/29/2013 Southport Blvd. Spartanburg SC bought 3 cases (18 qts) $107.82 + 6.47 tax total $114.29. That's 5.99/qt. Good luck.

 

i just went to auto zone and bought two of their "oil change special" 70 dollars for 10 quarts and two filters. Returned the two filters and was credited back 26 dollars. Comes to $4.40 per quart including tax. Just used a hand pump yesterday and changed the oil.

 

oh, that was the Mobil One 0 40 weight. And also, if you go to the mobil one website and join, you will get another 5 dollars back per " oil change kit" times 2 making it $3.40 per quart.

Hope you get the rebate! I fell victim to a rebate deal once they denied it because of this or that (cannot remember but it was in the fine print in the two pages of fine print on the website). Great price!

BTW, the Mobile1 filter I got with my specials last year fit beautifully, no problems, and I'll see how it stood up when I change the oil again in the 1 yr timeframe (I do not drive her much she only has 16K after 3 1/2 years).

 

There's M1 filter that works ??????

If you need Mobil1 0-40 and your Wallyworld carries it. Rollback price now is $22.44 for a 5gal jug. Thats the lowest price Ive ever seen. This is in OKC.

 

That's a good price for 5 gallons, I think you mean 5 quarts. LOL
