the thought of getting another crossfire has crossed my mind. although im also considering a slk , possibly a sky redline but im not too fond of 4 cylinders.. if i found a nice srt 6 roadster near houston id definetly go look at it. i do love the forum and i was beging to grow fod of some of the charecters here...... but the car did do a good job protecting me the passenger side air bag (in the dooor) did come out but im doing okay with some ibprofen and a heating pad!
Glad you walked away. T-bones are the worst.
As far as the SRT search, check with MAGREDVET in Houston. https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum/members/magredvet.html
He has a brand new SSB SRT Roadster he was trying to sell. Gorgeous car!
Good luck with the settlement.

I have seen many wrecked and totaled Crossfires and some appeared to be horrific accidents but fortunately I have seen no fatalities. These seem be be very well designed, safe machines to drive.

One does come to mind.. but I'd say an exception to the statement above due to circumstances.

I've owned numerous Volvos to compare to and this Mercedes is built tough. All the pieces seem to be built stronger.

Yes, but he was ejected. Maybe he got out of the car too soon.

My family has been using seat belts since 1961 and driving mostly Volvos since 68.

Get that insurance settlement yet?

And if that one is a little over the settlement.. this deal looks pretty sweet!

I figured I'd tease you with it.. Carrot on a stick thing.. LOL

So what's this guy get off with.. $200 court fine and suspended license if he had one to begin with? Some things really do need to be changed...

Deported to visit family and be back next week.. most likely..

Decided to keep it, but I'll sell the coupe for $13.5, which has 35500 miles and some nice mods

i did see a black 350 z and the girl i was with said ohhh u should get that car! i didnt want to explain the dynamics of how i felt inside about that statement , but there was some temptation to turn to the dark side!!!

rememberr guys im 26!!

I can't blame you. Every time I see a 350Z or a 370Z, I appreciate the styling and the stance of that car - it really catches my eye. Of course, I have the same feeling when I see a Vette - something about that American Muscle really gets to me. BUT - I get to see the 350/370/Vette cars EVERY DAY on my way to work, to the store, to the in-laws house, to wherever I am going - I see them everywhere.

I get the same charge when I see an SRT-6 cruising around - and in my area I've seen only 1 other than mine. I see a few N/As around here, but to see that other SRT and know it can smoke or at least hang with the 350/370 cars and most of the Vettes gives me a sense of pride knowing I have one too. I never get to see what mine looks like going down the road because I am always driving it.

For the money spent, I don't think there is a better value out there ($ per HP) than the Crossfire N/A and the SRT-6. It's solid (as you know first hand, unfortunately), nimble, stylish, unique and built in extra power with the SRT.

Good luck on your search and get what makes you happy - not what you think someone else would like. Glad your healing up and I hope the settlement goes in your favor.

RL

I have to agree...there are Mustangs, Corvettes, 370s everywhere...Crossfires are a rare car...We just traveled to Dallas and back earlier in the week...know how many Crossfires we saw other than ours? 0!
