4ch/2V Preamp Output: The Clarion M303 features 4ch/2V RCA line level outputs (Front/Rear). The unit's rear preamp outputs can be configured as a dedicated non-fading RCA subwoofer output with a low-pass filter and level control (+/-6).
2v is just not enough for the Infinity amp, it is happiest with 4v
That's been my experience, others more knowledgeable may disagree and give better advice.

This is the Alpine iDA X-100M that we used in the wife's Roadster...
Not 100% sure if Crutchfield still carries this unit, wiring into the car's system is a breeze and all the power you need (didn't say WANT,lol)

I converted all my CD's and LP's to the i-Pod, made up all kinds of play lists, I've never had that kind of musical variety before....

Just installed a JBL MR145.2 , fit perfect , no trim ring needed, front aux input, sounds great, but has red display. But I think it matches the red gauge pointers and red four way flashers switch plus my red LED radar an scanner. ($99 to $150) plus they have a later model now.
