Here's the time slip - the 6 is car 148:

That said, for a totally stock, 8 year old ride to run a 12.8XX on street tires - pretty sweet!!

Also - gotta give props for doing it at a strip....right?
He got beat at the light...poor launch...I love taking on Mustangs and I have raced a few 600+HP with the roadster. They haven't met the coupe yet.... ON THE TRACK OF COURSE. In fact one of my younger officer friends just sold a beauty. Close to 700 hp done up right. Bought a pick up truck. He was caught at WDC last yr doing a little street racing... Warning only. They are fast, but launching them is tricky at best. Our little cars launch beautifully, and that is their advantage over the more HP cars. You come out hard, or you aren't going to win.

Didn't you learn anything from my experience. Stay away from the mustang gt. that is probably the same guy that raced me.

This is true...Mustangs 20 to be exact, and Harley Davidsons. The Harley's are hard to spot since they went with the darker helmet and fairings. Most county depts., including ours are going over to the Tahoe, blk'd out. My local dept just went Tahoe in silver. Seems the Dodges are too maintenance prone, so the Tahoe's are winning out in the state bid process. Impalas have increased in cost as well, and may not be around for the police bids, so they are going away. Crown Vics are fazing out already. So, you may just see more and more Tahoe, or other SUV cruisers around. Just about forgot the Ford Taurus...they have tried to enter the market for police cruisers as well. Different look.

Not exactly. He jumped the light

I cut a 1.8 something on Contis, I'd say it was a decent launch. Just me tho.

Let me know next time you head out there, I'd like to make some more passes after making a few changes to the car. I'm always down for a friendly, legal race.

Yes sir, It has a vortech v3 si (self contained) kit. I was running a dialed back version of vortech's tune in the video, I am making 100+hp more at the wheels now . It makes 567whp and 460wtq and has room to grow, but the fuel system/rods + pistons run out around 650 wheel. I'm trying to keep it "conservative" because its my daily driver.
