crankshaft position sensor connector
If you touch the connector while car is running it dies. I am positive the connector is flaky. I have a degree in physics and have worked on cars and bikes all my life was a cyclotron tech at the cyclotron in Bloomington In I am 61 yrs old.
Just wanted to know what method of checking your conclusion came from.
I have a cut connector I could mail you? Or you could ask MrMopar?

My CPS was giving a random hard start and equally random code. In went a Borg Warner CPS and every time I hit 4000 rpms the car quit. Reinstalled the original Bosch after cleaning, a little dialectic grease, plugged and unplugged it a few times to make sure it was correctly seated and life is good. Personally, I think a lot of the CPS problems are connector related. I doubt the connectors are bad, just loose or dirty.

Just wondering becuz mine quit for no reason at stoplite today...after being towed to garage the mechanic was able to just start it up, like nothing happened....do crossies like to play tricks? Does this sound like a sensor? Mechanic mentioned that. I know its just that gremlin that lives under the hood....speaks german too the little sob.
