After 61.5 years I finally had an eye exam / glasses........I had no idea how beautiful this car really is.......wow! These HD TVs.....wow again!

 

So ..... how does the wife look?

 

Well, there is some downside......for instance I can now see the nose hairs on the quarterbacks on the new TV.

 

I was walking down the hall and saw one of my students coming toward me. She waved, so I said "HI, sweetheart!" As we got closer I realized she was a male. I went and got glasses the next day.

 

Yep sometimes ignorance is bliss.

 

Shouldnt be saying hi sweet heart to any students !!!!! Now should you !!!! LOL

 

And the investigation hearing is when?

 

Everything looks so 3 dimensional and crisp now......it's like looking in one of those old stereoscope machines.

 

Almost hoping my LCD goes out so I can justify to the wife.. Time for and LED.. LOL.

 

When we both needed specs we went for contact lenses, funny enough we buy them from the States as they are a lot cheaper even with postage, anyway back on subject, the first day they were fitted my wife went shopping and was out for hours, when she came back I asked where the **** have you been, her answer was reading all the labels on the jars and tins. Amazing how nice it is to have eyes that work.

 

I think next time I'll go with bifocals......kind of a pain changing back & forth all the time.

My one remaining XF is a bright silver 08.......one of these days I'd like to park next to a SSB & compare the colors.

 

Really cold here ......our local soccer team won the MLS title last week at the stadium 3 miles south of me last week.......may have been the coldest soccer game in history. I could here the fireworks live & on the TV
