There is no scheduled replacement on a timing chain that runs in an oil bath to my knowledge.

This ^

That and the reason I referred to it as "beefy" is to help clarify the fact that I think pretty much anything else would break first lol.

Double row chains will last longer than the rest of the engine. If this was a M271 or M111 with a single row, I would check stretch at 100k to be safe.

I've seen two used crossfires on Craigslist with the sellers stating the timing belt was recently changed. Following that I don't believe anything they are saying.

Just keep doing your regular oil changes, it will last the lifetime of the car. Chains rarely break but if they do its mostly because the owner NEVER changed there oil. Dirty oil is the enemy of everything.

I asked Rudy about this about a month ago. He said he has seen high milage MB engines with these chaines after 200k plus with very little visible wear. The guides and rails are the parts that show wear. He also said if there were to be excessive wear it would present itself with noise you could not ignore long before anything breaks. So if they are not making noise don't worry. Rudy if I misstated this please correct.
