Angry Air/Heater Blower Motor Help!

So I'm driving to school today, heater on half blast, and all of the sudden this loud clicking noise, so I shut down the blower and turn it back on, and now there is this loud griding, thumping noise coming from the air conditioner/heater unit, and it doesnt blow that hard.. is there anyway to fix this as opposed to going to the dealer? I'm in school and have no time to get this fixed for like 3 weeks! I mean I kinda losing faith in this car, the steering wheel rattles really bad, and now the blower motor for the aircon/heater is biting the dust, I mean I have barely 2100 miles on it, thanks for any help .....

Cool Re: Air/Heater Blower Motor Help!

Dealer is the best bet............it's under warranty.
I know it's the pits but...........sometimes mechanical devices need attention.
It's not, the car in general, I have over 6K and have not had a problem.
Just think of the UUUUuuuuuuus and AAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaas you get!!!
It's all worth a little problem.
Any MOPAR dealer anywhere can fix it, not just the one where you bought it.
Tell one of your Teachers you will give her a ride if she will let you come in late one day to put it in the shop!!
GOTTA BE A PLAYA WITH A PLAYAS RIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think your steering wheel should be rattling. You should bring it in for both issues. It is under warranty, after all. They will give you a loaner car in the meantime, so the only time you need to free up, is time enough to drive there and back.

There's that dealership in Rochester Hills, probably where you bought it. If you're strapped for time, call them ahead of time and tell them of your problem and have them make sure there is a loaner car ready right when you get there. Sometimes it takes a while and they make you fill out all kinds of paper work. Just tell them you need to be in and out quickly. Most of the time they'll be ok with that. if you had a good relationship with the salesman, you can call him and sometimes he will make sure everything goes smooth.

Get it looked at........it's really cold outside!!
