Default 2004 crossfire automatic shifting problem

So I got my 2004 crossfire it’s an automatic about 4 months ago and everything was fine and dandy. The car has 81k miles. Then one day it started acting funny it wouldn’t shift it’d only rev up. This would happen as I drive so I had turn the car off and turn it back on then it would work again for probably a few days, then do it again so I would have to do that whole process again. But a month ago it decided it doesn’t even want to get out of 1st gear at all it won’t shift I can’t get the car past 35mph.So I read up that it could be the RCM so I sent my RCM to DJ shout out DJ for the fix. But it seems to still have this problem It still won’t get out of 1st gear so if anyone can help me please let me know. This is an amazing car and I hope it’s an easy fix.

Things it could be :
low fluid
leaking transmission connector that wicked fluid up to the TCM
transmission conductor plate ( most likely )

Where is the transmission fluid located I couldn’t find it when I looked under the hood.

Believe it or not, they don't come with a dipstick, you have to order that.

Having the same problem with my 2004 with about the same mileage. One day it would not change from first. Had it towed to my dealer who couldn't duplicate the problem. been running ok since. This weekend it ran great, was running about 45 MPH when I just punched the throttle and ran up to 70 MPH real quick. When I let off the gas heard a thunk and then no power to the rear wheels. RPMs would go up but no movement. Came to stop, shifted to Park, waited about 30 seconds and then shifted to Drive and it shifted normally again. I didn't try to punch it after that as I was just a mile from home. Post if you get yours fixed! I'll have to order that dipstick as well.....

You can use anything flexible to go down the tube, plastic ties are one option.
Get the dipstick from China on eBay for less than $10, dealers etc want $50 or so, same part.
Use search to find checking method, and look in the Owners Manual.
