N/A Tune
Can anybody give me information on how to go about getting a tune for my 2005 Crossfire base model? It seems to be general consensus that an email tune is the best option. What is the best company to get one from and what does the process involve? Thank everyone who chimes in!
There are several available. I suggest you search the subject using the box in the upper right corner and then google websites. One of the more popular is Eurocharged Performance. Their tune is done online by linking your Microsoft system computer to theirs. They will send you a connection piece thru the mail to make it work or you can take the car to one of their garages.
I suggest you complete any other upgrades BEFORE the tune as the car will be adapted to how you have it setup. Again use the search box for suggestions.
Where in Alabama are you??? I am in Abbeville, AL

Search like this, go to Google and type:
"Chrysler Crossfire tune"
"Chrysler Crossfire performance mods"
"Chrysler Crossfire ECU Tune"
Doing so will bring up responses, and the top five or so that google finds will be here on THIS FORUM. This works better than this site's search function.
I do this all the time, sometimes, multiple times a day.

I suggest something that works better, as the search function here is crap.

The basic tune without actual mods to the intake itself are probably hardly noticeable in normal use and a waste of money.
If you have a manual transmission you will be left standing at the lights by a run of the mill Honda. My Hyundai auto is faster of the mark than my ‘04 Limited, you lose to much time changing gears.

A larger Mercedes air box is available and along with a larger throttle body from a SRT and a matching MAF housing using the original MAF sensor is about the best you will do.
Do not expect to reach 200hp at the rear wheels on a dyno, more like 195.
The car will feel a bit livelier at higher speeds, the spotty faced kid in his Honda will still wave you goodbye at the lights, you can do the same to him when you get going.
That’s my thoughts anyway, you did not buy a fast car, good freeway cruiser though.
The NeedsWing CA intake is too much $ for the benefits you get, cosmetic only in my mind, but it is your money.
