Driving my 05 Chrysler Crossfire base and my dash lights up with every light then goes into limp mode. Pulled over, engine hot as hell, and temp guage shows cold. Replaced thermostat 2 months ago for the same issue thinking that was the problem. Fan kicks on so it's not the fan. I did get a P0900 code...best I can remember with a generic ob2 scanne, but i think it was due to batterywas almost dead. Recharged battery to full afterwards. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Have you checked your coolant level? Also if your gauge isn't reading hot, maybe you have a bad sensor.
Also check your water pump and see if it's seeping coolant. With the engine off, loosen the belt and spin the pump pulley by hand and see if it's turning freely.
Maybe the RCM is bad as well?

I released tension and pump spins freely. and i take that back, my daughter was saying it ran cold but it actually is corrct reading. Guage read Halfway, a toch above. I guess thats cold for her...lol...Sry for the confusion...any other ideas of why it doing this?

Halfway or a little above is normal temp.
The RCM controls a lot of things, it may be bad.
RCM ___________________________carry a spare always RCM = the blood of the crossfire.
three people above said rcm, but added other things I SAID RCM so swap it out and u will see
and send your old one to TJ for repair ,,,then put it in the trunk as a spare. . jim
This is a very normal temp during normal driving conditions in the summer
If the temp gauge rises slightly above the halfway point that is still normal too and your actual coolant temp will likely read about 205F which is still fine
I have this Ultra Gauge plugged into my OBD2 port all the time to monitor the gauges you see displayed here
