Send me an answer if your joining the group for both Friday and Saturday night dinners. ASAP If you did respond, I’m missed recording it on my list, please send it again. I have to finalize the head count for the dinners.
i sent you a pm ann but just in case me and the wife and mike and debbie should be there for dinner both nights

I may be interested if enough others are. I won't race mine but is anyone expecting to? I may go just to watch a Crossfire in action

Steers from the same seat as in a car. The steering wheel is on the side next to the front seat. It looked awkward at first, but it worked very well. They get to going 10 mph or better, said it's like being on a amusement park ride, hair flying up along with their arms

Well, one thing is for certain about the Woodward Dream Cruise: you will definitely see things you never expected to see, and have never seen before.

Last time I was up for it, I saw so much crazy stuff I became desensitized. (That was before the prozac kicked in!)

RPM - Tentative
My Dad may come up for the WDC. I put us down for the museum as tentative.
Edit 8/6/2008 - Dad is now coming up on Labor Day weekend. I think KcKey12, cabinisle1, and myself may go to the museum though.

Update on dinners, parking and anything else I forgot to do:

My goal was to complete the plans/arrangements ahead of the Cruise, which is basically done. These are a couple of details left:

1. If you did not tell me you were attending Friday or Saturday night dinners you don't have a seat reserved. Each of the restaurants will work to give you a table/seat as one becomes available. Please don't take a seat from one of us who did make arrangements. Don't bring anyone extra for Saturday night dinner. We are already way over the head count the room should hold.

2. The parking permits for Friday night, in the First United Church's lot, will be mailed to you along with some basic info/directions. Without the permit they can have your car towed. I tried to get addresses from people who are not in the 13/WW lot.
If you did not send me yours do it now.

3. If you are in the 13 and Woodward lot you need to tuck a 5 dollar bill away to pay for Saturday toilet privileges. This is almost extortion, but honestly I asked a long time ago about this and no one was against doing it nor did anyone have a different idea. So please hand over your cash with a smile and don't make me come asking you for it.

4. "Anything else I forgot" I forgot, if you think of something let me know.

5. Do get this info sent to VALKRYDERGUY.
real name, cell number, car description and city/st/country.
If you didn't send him yours yet do it now.
This list will then be provided privately to only members on the list by PM
Do check my gallery for a two page endless info sheet about driving around Woodward and roads in the area.
It's from last year but not much has changed.

6. Group photo is a problem of sorts. At this time I am saying it will be at Tavern on 13, but you need to be there by 6:30 as we have to go sit down at 7:00. Anyone with any idea of how to make a photo work out please speak up,

Remember to bring and wear your name tags if you got from the Spring Dragon Meet. If you don't have one get a peel and stick so we know who your are.

Ann, that's not extortion. I'll gladly pay not to have to use a porta-potty that's been sitting in the August sun all day. I had to use one at Carlisle and I thought I was going to die! Seriously, I almost had heat stroke from the wretched thing. I must have sweat at least 1/2 a gallon while I was in there. It was like being locked in an oven - a smelly dirty oven.

Thanks for making those arrangements for us. You rock!
