I have used the link and have booked my room. I encourage everyone committed to this event to make your reservation soon. If we book all 20 rooms we may be able to add additional rooms for our group rate.
Just curoius.....since we have so many Chicago area members coming to this event........would anyone be interested in attending a track day at Gingermann raceway on a friday maybe?

I plan to be spending about 6 hours on Friday driving to Auburn Hills. Several of us meet at various points here near the Chicago suburbs and drive up together. We would most likely not be in town until 3 or 4 pm. I can't speak for the others but that is what I have in mind.

We have a new spot this year.......
Our parking spot this year is next to the Chrysler Exhibit at mile 13 and Woodward. It is at the Northwood Shopping Center parking lot in Royal Oak We have reserved between 20-30 spots with the availability of up to 50. We have not forgotten about you and the buzz on our forum is busy already planning this years WDC event. I will keep you up to date throughout this year as we continue to grow in attendance.
We currently have 27 Crossfire owners/members attending and it is only January. We expect this number to rise through the year. I invite you and the others from the church to come on down and see all of us this year on Saturday August 16.
Nearly everyone from last year should be coming again this year and many more !!
Hope all is well this New Year for you and your family. Gary (Valkryderguy)

Hi Gary: I am really glad you guys pulled this off because
what the Crossfire Owners have to offer is far too
impressive not to be at the epicenter of the
DreamCruise. I think Zion Lutheran should just be
pleased that we were able to host you in 2007 and I
can guarantee that I will be visiting you at your new
location! Best wishes, Happy New Year, Betty Howe

Look forward to seeing you in August. It will be a pleasure having you join the Crossfire convoy out of Illinois and up to Detroit. Gary
Gary I was thinking on coming up on Thursday like I did last year but when I do the website reservation it won't accept it I guess because of the extra day. Is there somebody I can call and talk to so I can add an extra day. Thanks, Pat

Pat,
You can call Nicole at the number below. If you explain that you are with the "Crossfire" group but want to arrive a day earlier (Thursday) they might be able to book you for the group rate for Fri and Sat night and charge you the regular rate $89 for only Thursday. I have the group rate set up for Fri and/or Sat only.

Tom2112, Thanks!! for the offer.
I'll take it up with my other half. We figured we would have to make a long trip out of it. Our biggest problem will be planning for the time off. We're self employed and it can be difficult, although you wouldn't think it shouldn't be, to get away for more than a day or two.
I also head-up meets for the Honda Ridgeline Trucks forum here in the Northeast and I'm waiting on the announcement of our annual meet. I hoping it won't be the same weekend, because then I'm really going to have a difficult decision to make, although my vote is for Crossfires. A heck of a lot more fun!!
Should have some type of answer in the next week or so.
THANKS, Again for the offer. Definately keep it in mind.

Let me see if I have this straight........You actually have to choose between the largest one-day collection of cars anywhere on the earth, while in a Crossfire, or going to a meet with a few honda trucks???????
WOW......that's totally a no-brainer for me!
Honda makes a truck???
