Beautiful day down here with the top down. Took a drive down to Walhala SC on a different route than 28 and discovered a road that is what I imagine the dragon warlike in it's primitive days. I called it Tail of the Otter but think maybe it should be Hell's Footpath.

It had some twists that are as bad if not worse than the Dragon. Unfortunately, I'll never take it again as it is wide enough for one car to feel comfortable...plus it was gravel (not as bad as the bridges trip). Got some video if anyone wants to see part of it when you get here. but word to the wise, never take Otter road!

But we did come back via 28 and it was a blast.

The weather was wonderful here today, as well. WELL, i'ts been a stellar weekend, in fact.

 

Four more Days , Hope we get out of Lexington in time to meet the rest going down Fri will know more as the week goes on, If not may cut through a Diff way and come out on 75 at Mt Vernon Ky see if we can catch you that way , Party Time coming up YA!!!!!!LOL

I will not be able to make the Dragon trip this time due to some unfortunate circumstances and illness in the family.

This was the one thing I was NOT going to cancel, see how that turned out for me. Friends, hopefully Molly and I will get to see you sooner, but I am going to change my reservation to the Spring...

Beckly WV. cannot think of a better spotto get sstuck. Pretty and willsay that way cause they are stil in the ninetine fifties there. Hence everything closed on Sundays.

At least you got Krispy Kremes.

And without a car, you have no excuses but to walk them off.

Some of my best road trips involved broken down cars and the subsequent "discoveries and adventures" Enjoy.

Thank you, friends, I truly appreciate the thoughts and prayers, Molly's grandfather is a fighter, but we are wondering if the last few battles haven't taken the fight out of him. Hopefully, soon, he will be in no pain...

I'm saddened to hear the news.
I know how tuff it is to not make a meet like this after all that builds up to going...but sometimes life throws ya a curve ball and this is the result.

I've been laying low on even mentioning this but I may not even get to be there next weekend either.
I had a knee surgery on the 16th and found out on the 22nd I had an internal bleed which caused significant swelling to develop leaving me still needing crutches
I won't know til the day I plan to leave (Thursday) if I will be leaving or not.

My thoughts are with you both and I to will be going in the Spring so see ya then if not sooner.
