The Woodward Dream Cruise

 

We are trying to get up there earlier than in the past, hopefully before dinner so we can go out with everyone. As long as I try not to destroy anything at your house, may I use your hose to spruce up the old girl after her trip?

Is there a place to meet for dinner on Friday night and any other things planned for the group?

 

Just wondering if the group from Illinois are planning on heading to Woodward together like last year?

 

I'll be leaving Chicago area on Thursday, about 9AM. I think FP and Valk will be leaving sometime Friday. Hope to see everyone there.
I know some of the locals are planning a GTG dinner Thursday evening. Haven't heard definitely yet ..... Hopefully they'll post some plan.....

Hope to leave around noon but it all depends on work that day.
Burned up most of my vaction days in Mexico back in April and just spent this week in Germany, Denmark and Amsterdam
Coming home Sunday to rest up for next weekend.

It looks like we will make it to Detroit. Toby is doing fine no heart attack. She should be home by Monday. The are just waiting for the results of her stress test.

She is sweet, but doesn't take any ****, she helps run a construction company if that give you an idea haha...

So, is there a dinner Friday planned, or are we on our own. I was planning on some cruising and a bite with friends.

 

I spoke with Judy and there is no planned time for a group dinner on Friday night.
Those who are in town on Friday will be heading over to our parking spot on Woodward at Memorial Park.

They also may choose to walk to a restaurant close by and across from the park for dinner and leave the Crossfires parked.
Then after dinner head back to the Marriott for the evening GTG outside weather permitting.

Send Judy (msgump) a PM if you wish to have her contact number.
Then you can try to contact here on Friday to see where they are etc.

 

Gary, Sandman50 and I will probably be rolling in at the Marriott around noon on Friday.
We won't be parking with everybody on Saturday because (like always) we do what your're supposed to do at Woodward, CRUISE!!!
There's so many great car shows going on all up and down Woodward, it's a shame to spend the whole day just sittin around and watching the cars roll by. You're only enjoying a small fraction of what the Woodward Dream Cruise has to offer.
Besides, when we park all day, we're depriving the crowds all the enjoyment of seeing how cool our cars look as WE drive by.
