Sorry about your trim. My wife and I will be leaving Cincinnati around 6am, driving through Dayton roughly 7 am. That will get us to the hotel just before lunch. If you want to meet up, let me know where you want to meet. We can do a fastfood breakfast somewhere to meet up if you like.

James - iblubyu & Iamfink2 will be detailing their cars in my drive tomorrow late a.m. and we will be heading to the display area around noon to have lunch somewhere around 13/WW. Let me know when your group gets in town.

*** If anyone needs a parking pass that did not get one, please let me know ASAP. ***

Doc has one he will unfortunately not be able to use, so he has offered it up. I do not mind getting it on the way up, but it is roughly 35 miles out of my way during rush hour, so I am not going to go if no one needs it. Please call or text me at 7 six 5 491 two 4 two 2 (done this way so I do not get robo-calls)...

JM - Great pics as usual.

Eric Stoddard stopped by to visit with us for about 1/2 hour earlier today and plans on joining us again tomorrow with his Xfire coupe.

Had a great time. Met so many new Crossfire enthusiasts and it was great to see everyone else again.
Definately an event highlight having the oportunity to meet Eric Stoddard, having him autograph my car and talk to him, his friends and family. What great people......Eric THANK YOU!!!!

I'll try to post some pics :

Another fantastic weekend in Michigan this year at the Woodward Dream Cruise !!
This was by far the BEST one since it began for all of us back in 2007
The weather was perfect and the parking location that we got this year was the very best ever.
We had 24 Crossfires parked among nearly 500 show cars in the beautiful 25 acre Memorial Park at 13 mile rd. and Woodward ave. at the heart of the Dream Cruise.
Our thanks to Judi (msgump) for all her efforts to find us this perfect location.
Also we are now invited to park there every year from now on and have secured this location.
Great to see everyone who attended and it was a pleasure meeting some new faces this year.

Also a surprise on Friday when Eric Stoddard stopped by and autographed engine covers and inside hoods and owners manuals.
Some even went to Eric's house nearby on Saturday after he extended the invitation for folks to stop by for a meet and greet and an autograph.

Here is a link with the pics I took this weekend

Valk - Totally agree with your comments. This was clearly the BEST Dream Cruise yet - perfect location, weather and Eric's attendance was the icing on the cake.
Many thanks to Msgump for setting it up.
Also, thanks to Wolverine, we are currently touring Northern Mich with 7 Xfires and having an amazing time.
See everybody at next year's Dream Cruise!

Agree with all the positive comments about the Cruise. Seeing everyone, and the long line of Crossies at the park was way cool.
Regarding Eric Staddard ....... way before a lot of the Crossfire attendees arrived, I happened to be talking with a couple of people in the front of my car, and I happened to notice a fairly short man on a small folding bicycle standing about 6 feet in back of them. Ordinarily I wouldn't pay too much attention to someone like that, but the fact that he was bald and wearing unique sunglasses, I recognized him as Eric. I said, "Eric?", and he responded yes. I was astounded! He said he just happened to be at the park just checking things out, and saw our line-up of Crossies. He was very gracious, and as I let people know who he was (with his permission), he just let us shake his hand and take pics, and gave autographs. As it turned out, he was having a huge BBQ party at his home, and couldn't stay, but said he would try to make it back on Saturday at some point, but that never happened because his BBQ was too busy. I had given him my cell number when he was there on Friday, and don't you know it, he called me on Saturday and invited anyone of us to come to his home (he only lives a couple of miles from the park area), during his BBQ party to visit. Some of us did, as evidenced by the pics posted previously.
He also suggested to me, that next year, we plan a dinner party, so we all could get together. SO....ORGANIZERS...PUT THAT ON THE AGENDA. He has given

I updated the Woodward Dream Cruise Crossfire page on Cardomain. I used some of photos that were posted in this thread to add to the content. Mainly photos of Eric that I didn't have. Let me know if you have an objection to my using one of your photos and I will take it down.

What a nice surprise to meet all of you at the Cruise! Thanks to the crew from Canada who made the trip up to my place to meet some of my family and friends at the barbecue. It's always nice to meet happy Xfire owners, it's truly special. Now that I know there is an annual Crossfire contingent at Woodward we'll have to plan something for next year. As some of you found out I live right off of Woodward ave near 14 mile, perhaps we can plan a et-together, barbece, etc. Thanks again to everyone!

We have to thank you for taking the time away from your friends and family to greet a group of strangers so warmly. Thanks to your family and friends for being so welcoming as well, they must have wondered what was going on.
It was a pleasure to meet you and if something is arranged for next year you can count on us to be there.
