Like others, when we attend, we go for the fellowship & meeting both old & new friends. I especially like to peruse the lot at Fontana Lodge and look over the cars. While I tend to be a purist and keep our 2007 with that OEM look, I have great admiration for those that push the envelope and mod-up their XFires.

We live so close to the Dragon, that we get the opportunity to drive it and the other roadways all year round. Wish we could be with you guys but we're scheduled to work that weekend.

The Original TOURIST CLASS will run again this Fall for all new members who want to learn how their machine handles on the hills and curves of W. NC. This four hour run is also open to all those who have had enough fast fun to last a lifetime and now want to actually SEE the scenery! Lunch included. Sign up with PACEMAKER at the Driver's Meeting on Friday night at the Lodge.
..but wait, there's more!
Sunday Morning Church topic will be: "Practical help for handling life's hassles and heartaches". This is available for all those used to attending church, and everyone else. 8:00 - 8:45 a.m. in the Bar.

There is nothing 'official' about anything.
Some folks start arriving sometime Thursday afternoon, most will arrive Friday.
There is a meeting at 9 Friday night to discuss grouping and routes for Saturday and Sunday.
Some leave for home Saturday afternoon/night, some Sunday and the rest on Monday.

Hey Pizza! I may have to take issue with your claim to the shortest marriage. I had one, from wedding day to Judge signed divorce paper, 28 days. Was yours shorter than that?

Well I just went and put brand new tires on my car and my rear drivers side wheel has a nasty crack on the inside and is leaking air! Great. two weeks before the dragon!!!! I have found several on ebay. The rear is 19" yes. alloy right? Are the measurements all the same as far as width and all that? I HAVE TO GET A MOVE ON THIS OR WILL HAVE TO CANCEL MY TRIP!!!!!

What year and what model Crossfire do you have?? I'm not seeing ANY Crossfire rear wheels on E-bay so not sure what you're looking at there.

its a 2005 limited Covertable with the original wheels. I found a bunch on ebay. Just wasnt sure about size. I know they are 19"

Yes, FRONT WHEELS ARE 7.5J X18 AND REARS ARE 9J X19. Most that I see on E-Bay are 18" front wheels. The 19" rear wheels seem to be "remanufactured" or "replica" wheels. Be careful and know what you are getting before you buy . . . Suggest putting a post in the WTB (Wanted to Buy) section of the forum.
