8th Annual Fall 2014 - Tail of the Dragon GTG-October 3, 4, 5
Frank, I may be too early for this but being a veteran of your ride through the woods, I would love to go with you for lunch Friday, but, I am not sure yet if I am coming, or if my wife coming. She didn't say but I think it was because there were not many women there last year. She said she didn't mind being the "Rose among the thorns", but...
She is going on a cruise with "The girls", so I will probably come to the Dragon by myself. I still have time to work it out.

Crumpy has given me a definite "most likely" that she will be there. So i understand.

Don't I recall that you experienced some driver / passenger disharmony during your runs last year? Do you know that we will have our Suburban up at the TOD again this fall (read post #10 here: https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...tml#post794506 ). If your wife decides to comes along again, she should consider reserving a spot in our Suburban to ride with my wife Cindy (and others) who will be tagging along with the "tourist group". That will allow you to drive alone and a bit more aggressively without having the distraction of screaming and getting your upper arm pounded by your terrified passenger . . .
I have found it very difficult to hit back when runing a stick shifter through the twisties. Putting her in another car has improved my runs throughthe dragon considerable. Only now she is behind me in an SRT and consequently,,,,,,still on my @ss .

Good adivice Red. And less expensive than the option I chose. Which was to buy Crumpey her own Crossfire.
