The tradition continues! Save the date, September 27th for the once a year 2014 TMS event. From the Speedway Children's Charities website: "You’re the driver when Texas Motor Speedway opens up the track to the public! Experience the thrill of driving your personal vehicle around the 1.5-mile speedway oval, all to benefit Speedway Children’s Charities at Texas Motor Speedway. We have a BIG addition to this year's event! After you take your laps, you can celebrate with a picture taken in Victory Lane, then enjoy a drive-in movie on Big Hoss TV - The World's Largest HD Screen! The event will take place on September 27, 2014."

You got it Greg! The TMS pace cars need drivers wanting to push the limits. Let's hit 100+mph like we did last year!

 

TerryR mentioned that he wanted to attend. He no longer has a XF. Has a big Beamer now. He and Margaret both want to hang out at the Motel 6 and the Pool party.

 

Yes, they were at TMS last year with their Beamer. Once a Crossfire owner, your always a family member. It will be great for them to join the group again!

Myself, Margaret and the pups are really looking forward to meeting up with old friends again, always loved this event, with "Babes" our pool parties and the track. Hope my old Pal "Joejet" joins us again, together we were always the first to arrive at the Hotel, to start our pool parties early.

Maybe Pauline and I can make it. We get back from a 2 week cruise late afternoon September 22. I have enjoyed this the last 2 years.

Put me down as tentative for the moment. If the boss approves my time off between this event and the Dragon, I'll be there.

 

I am supposed to be going to a Canard Fly-In in Rough River Kentucky that weekend. All dependent on getting a right seat ride in someone else's Canard. If I am unable to go there I will definitely be in for this event. Sounds like a blast. I would love the chance to get my Crossfire on the track.
