We now have an agreement with the Hotel in post #1. When calling, your rate will be $80 a night and you should inform the desk that you are with the "Crossfire Group" or "CAA 8".

Several of us went to Branson MO before CAA#6 in 2015 and I know that everyone enjoyed it there. There are LOTS of entertainment activities in Branson.

Pizzaguy has asked me to coordinate a PRE-CAA#8 option in Branson, MO. If anyone is interested in spending a day or two in Branson MO before heading over to Eureka Springs for CAA#8 (or if you have questions), please e-mail me directly at RedDogNumber1@aol.com. If we get even a few interested in Branson, I will work on getting this option set up and post a separate thread with information / to coordinate a Branson, MO option.

I know you said to email but I am going to ask here for all to see. What are the days you are speaking of? Friday, Saturday, Sunday, etc? What is the first official day of CAA8?

The date to check in in Eureka Springs will be on Sunday June 25 and checking out on Friday, June 30
Branson is only one hour from Eureka Springs
Branson can be a stop on the way to Eureka Springs or could potentially even be a day trip any day during CAA8 to visit the town and still return to Eureka Springs

just a small note. in june you can walk faster thru branson then drive. yes lot of things to do but not fun to cruise. I live close to branson. if you go get a map of branson there are a lot of back roads to get from one spot to the next. main drag is snail pace. not trying to stop anyone from going, some great places in branson but use the map of backroads

 

Room reservation made.. Staying Saturday night also.. Note: not all rooms come with a fridge .. so if you want one... ask.. no extra charge with the "extended" stay.

 

Hi James, I know that Gary gave you the answer to the first official day of CAA#8 . . . Most would be checking in on Sunday June 25th (We made our Eureka Springs reservations today).

For the Branson PRE-CAA#8 option, my plan would be to check in there on Friday June 23rd. That will allow us Friday evening and all day / night Saturday in Branson. Then checking out on Sunday late morning June 25th heading over to Eureka Springs . . .

 

That does work well for a pre CAA8
