The past ten months have not bee good with me - but a recent job change has helped a lot.
I need this time away...
We've had to throw this one together at the last minute, none of us thought the lodge would be open this fall - but, with SO MANY first timers, I think we are in for a really good meet!
18 days to go..........................

Its definitely been an unusual year with many events cancelled across the Crossfire Community due to COVID-19
This was looking certain to be another one cancelled but when the announcement came that Fontana Lodge was re-opened in August it lit the fire and re-ignited the excitement to come together and proceed to have this event.
Looking forward to seeing so many new folks joining us too
Please be sure to review our COVID notice in post #4 See ya all soon

Unfortunately we are going to have to cancel as they have extended the Canada/US border closure until Oct. 21st. Please take our names off the list. -Ned and Linda, St.Davids, Ontario, Canada.
If anyone is interested I will be cancelling our room in the main lodge. Just our luck, we decided last year to book it before we left.
Everybody have a great time, stay safe and hopefully we will do it next year.

I'm sorry you cant attend....
If you haven't yet cancelled your reservation hold on to it because there might be someone who can take over it and pay you your deposit
If you cancel it you will loose your 1 night deposit due to a change in the management since you reserved your room last year
Post back if you have NOT already canceled your reservation

Thought I would start "prepping" our 2007 Coupe for the Fall event in a couple of weeks. Started with polishing the chrome exhaust tips this afternoon.

As of this time, we have six leaders for Saturday and (I THINK) enough for Friday and Sunday. ANYONE who wants to lead their own run is welcome to do so. If you are thinking about this, message me here or on Facebook and we will add your info to the display in the lobby, etc.
Again, there will be no driver's meeting (just a short one for first timers ONLY) due to COVID, we will communicate mostly thru the whiteboard and welcome table in the lobby.

I'm hoping to make it on short notice, usually I have classes to teach. But I can only do it if someone has a reservation they need to get out of, and the resort is still willing to transfer... (well mom lives in Hendersonville, so I can also add a few hours to my drive for each days start).

It was posted just two days ago that he is unable to travel from Canada and has a reservation that he needs to cancel
