52 Crossfires (38 Roadsters / 13 Coupes / 1 Crossfire Wannabe) & still 6 weeks away. Looks like a good event next month.

Ah there is always a latecomer. I just bought my car last Friday (August 11) and titled on Monday. I drove it last night and joined the club today. @pizzaguy suggestion to join the rally I did and registered today. I have much work to do my car to get it ready for the meet and I will have it safe. I don't think I can attend the entire 4 days. I have a bunch of animals that need care. If anybody can suggest what days will be better Thursday through Saturday or Friday through Saturday. Let me know.

The big days, days you want to be there ALL DAY are Friday and Saturday. Those are the BIG days. You are not that far away, get there late Thursday or by 8am FRiday and stay all day Fri-Sat. Try to not head home till LATE Saturday or early Sunday. Getting there after 8-15am is a waste, we will have departed by 830 or 9 and will be gone all day. There IS no event "at the hotel" other than social time after 5pm, this is mostly a driving event. Expect to be on the road with us from about 9-4 each day (with a lot of stops including lunch and other fun times.)

Just PLEASE keep in mind we are not at the hotel from 9-4 or 5 each day. This is primarily a driving event and you can't meet us somewhere outside those hours as we will split into 4-6 groups for the day, since this is our first year at the new location, ya really got to be there first thing in the morning, as we are all 'newbs' on most of the new roads.

Congrats on your purchase of the Roadster above and welcome to our Forum. Looking forward to meeting you at this year's Fall GTG (Get Together) Rally Event.

I need to make a correction on the attendance list. Janet and Carlo will be attending with our blue SRT6 coupe.

The rally is a bit different than previous years. You will see that we recommend you arrive Thursday, NOT Friday. Full days are Friday, Saturday, Sunday. We recommend you arrive mid-day Thursday and leave Monday to enjoy the entire weekend.

I got my hotel reservation. I have a room with double beds. I am open to sharing the room. I am staying Thursday Night and Friday Night. I wish I could stay all four nights however this is a last minute trip and I have too much weirdness going on this September. I run a ad-hoc duck rescue and have many animals that need care. Here is a picture of my own personal imprint duck, Totoro. He was named by pokemon players after the movie My Neighbor Totoro. For the spring rally, I should be able to stay for the entire trip.

Looking forward to the event. I think my V8 coupe is going to stay home this year. Between not having the new 7-speed transmission 100% sorted out yet, and two of my family members dropping out of coming, the logical thing is to just ride up in my son's SRT6, and just enjoy.

Is that a Blue top on your Roadster? If it is, gives your SSB some added flare!

I'll do a detailing inside & outside that same timeframe leading up to our short road trip to Kingsport on the 21st. I tend to keep the Coupe well protected from the elements, & foxes (yes we have a family of foxes in our neighborhood), when it's not being driven, so the detailing effort shouldn't take me very long (day or two).

Yes, it is a blue top. I really like it as it stands out over the typical black.

I put a blue top on my aero blue car and I am quite happy with the choice.

Who is our fearless leader for this event? Are there arrangements in place for a car washing area at our hotel?
