Default strange tool

Does anyone have the strange little tool they mention, in the manual, for removing the front grill for towing and putting the top up if something goes astray? If you do, where was it. I believe I may not have gotten one.

correct; its in the storage pouch between the seats -- well it should be anyway.

If you are talking about the long thin black thing that sort of resembles an open end box wrench, mine was, and still is in the pouch between the seats.

Cool Re: strange tool

The multi tool can be found in the cargo net behind the seats, or in the glove box or trunk. It is placed by the factory in the cargo net behind the drivers seat.

I also have one, but can't figure out what it does. I use it to pop my hub caps, I have no idea what the open end portion does?

Mine was located in the glove box. Fits nicely at the bottom and doesn't take up much room.

The owner's manual has several places where it mentions the use of this tool, just take a gander though it and you will find them. (I don't have mine here or I would quote pages for you).

Cheers!

Cool Re: strange tool

The open end wrench part is to manually raise or lower the top on the Roadsters.

According to the manual it is also used to remove part of the front grill for towing up on a flatbed hauler. There is a hook up point hidden behind one of the lower grills.

My tool, and it is a strange looking bit of kit, came in a plastic packet in the glove box which is where it still is.

If I bought my car certified used from a Chrysler dealer, could I request for the tool? I could not find it in my car. How much is it if I wanted to get it?

If you bought a certified car, they need to give you every item that comes with the car, less any promotional items.
