Couldn't believe the # of XF's
Just back from a week in South Florida and I couldn't believe the abundance of XF's there. First off, get out of the plane and into the Dollar rent a car lot and there are no less than 15 Coupes and Roadsters there for the renting. Then during a 10 day stay in Naples, Ft. Lauderdale and Miami/South Beach I must have seen 15 more. That's probably more than I've seen since I've owned mine here in NY. It was really nice to see them in the environment they were obviously created for and being appreciated along with the usual BMW's and Porsches. Far fewer C6's than we see in NY but many many more exotics of all types.
Funny, I live in West Palm Beach and I hardly ever see other Crossfires. Then again, a couple of guys I work with say they see them regularly.
I live in the south florida area as well. When I bought mine 1.5 years ago, there was barely any on the road. I may see one a week at best. Now, I see quite a few. I see way more convertibles than coupes. I even see srts once and a while, that never happened even a year ago.
Between Wednesday afternoon and early Saturday morning of last week, I followed an '05 Crossfire Lmtd. Roadster 2,273 miles, from Akron Ohio to Las Vegas Nevada, and never saw another Crossfire until I reached Vegas.
So I guess that means they're all hiding in Canada, and on the Gulf Coast, and the Southern most regions of Florida.
What a great time to be a "Midwesterner".

Could it be due to the dealers that are willing to sell them?
I have a customer with business in Riverview, MI (on the edge of Detroit), like others have said... I see plenty of them, daily, all LTDs and have yet to see any SRT6.
I live in Jacksonville FL and I see an occasional Crossfire, all types (roadster, LTD, SRT6, SRT6 roadster). Maybe once every other week. The odd thing is, I don't see any on the DC lots... don't see any = none, not even used... however I see plenty on used car lots...
WISH I COULD GET THE WIND NOISE FIXED DAMN IT!!! (just had to say that).
