Newbie
Just bought an '05 roadster yesterday. Paid $24,975 incl. TTL. 9,770 miles, nav, graphite. Want to thank all here for all their posts because I've been reading the forum for months and YOU were the ones that convinced me to buy. Hope to see some of you Long Island folks on the road soon.
I personally won't be there this weekend but every Sunday morning starting at about 7 AM every car nut on Long Island gathers at the beach where the OBI used to be (No charge to park there). Once they stop collecting the toll for parking at the Captree Marina Parking area (in the next few weeks) the gathering moves there. There are laterally hundreds of cars and motorcycles from Rat Rods to Ferrari Enzos and GT40's every week. Usually a few Crossfire owners show up. There are about 6 of us from the Forum that know about this beach gathering secret. I'll be there on the 21st. Just get there early for a place to park.
Welcome to the best forum on the net.
You have just joined the best source of Crossfire information available.
Enjoy your new Crossfire.

Welcome, nice to see another LI'er, I will also be at the beach on the 21st along with xfire2005 i might be there this week.
Let us know if you will make it, myself and xfire2005 meet up early around 6:30 am at Airport Plaza on 110 in E.Farmingdale, have some coffee and then hit the road to the beach.

Congrats! Maybe we'll pass on the road. I've never meet the other LI owners (I'm too busy on the weekends), but based upon reading their comments in this forum they sound like great people!. If anyone ever goes to a car show at the Vanderbilt Museum in Centerport, let me know - I live across the street - so I know I can make it there!
Won't be able to make it this weekend but hoping to get there soon enough. Thanks for the welcome. Saw some gal in a black SRT roadster on the Meadowbrook this a.m. about 9 but she got off in Uniondale and I was heading to the SSP.
I'm at car shows at the Vanderbilt at least once or twice a year. MG sponsors one and usually there's at least one other (usually Corvettes) that I attend. Nice location but for shear #'s and variety there is nothing like the beach crowd on Sunday mornings. Hope to meet you soon.
