Actually the data provided for the NAV systems are generated by one of the two US-companies ! Please refrain from those nationalistics jokes. I am offended by the directions this forum takes more then ones

Question Re: New guy needs help with navigation feature on roadster limited

I got the CD East for $70 on Ebay. It is 2004-5 data. I don't have an owners manual but have figured out most of it.

My question is can you get a Nav. manual for "free" as a PDF file on-line or do you have to buy one?

Also, is there a way to hear the voice on the Nav system without the radio being on too? (I drives me nuts! )

The NAV voice volume can be said separately from radio volume (and is remembered in the set up whenever you turn the NAV on). Hence you can turn radio volume below your hearing threshold, yet the NAV voice will come through at your chosen volume.

Hi,
Does anyone know why my navigation that I got new from U.K. doesn't seem to work in the U.S.? I put a disc in but it's not even reading it! Is there some switch to change it to U.S. from Europe?

Does anyone have any clue as to why it's not reading the disc I put in? I got a disc for the U.S. east and it doesn't even read the disc it just says insert Navigation disc!

Hi everyone,
O.K. I bought a brand new Infinity Navigation radio with all the box, papers etc. NO DISC. I bought it from England! Why will it not read the disc I bought for the U.S.? Any idea? Are they different? is the disc I have not working? Any solutions would help. The rest of the radio,cd's all works fine but when I put the Navigation CD in it doesn't do anything except show put Navigation CD in. Clueless!
