I've toyed with the idea of painting my silver interior trim body color (Blaze Red) since the day I got it. I really like the Aero and light leather combo. I give it a big thumbs-up.

Do you think I could get away with it in a red roadster?

i think the red is the best color to do it in, it would look so cool ! if you ever do please post some pics, as many as you can. just think how nice the yellow would be too, with the vanilla/gray!

Now if you would only pick up one of those stubby carbon fiber antennas from me that would complete a smookin look!

Looks neat.

I am thinking of debadgnig with the lettering. Not sure if I will do the brake light but I like the clean look back there.

The way these are made is that they have a CF sleeve that fits around the antenna. The sleeve I am sure could come loose if you yanked it hard enough but the antenna is not affected as a matter of fact a little glue would solve that. I am not sure if yours is the same as these so I cannot comment definitively.

Hope this helps…

Sorry the last two CF's just went but I also have one last rubber stubby and it is 3 inches with the copper throughout the inside so no need for a retractable.

This one is 13.90 shipped. The cf's were 15.25 shipped.

If you are interested let me know but I am out of the country at the moment and will return next week.

Thanks

Nate

What did you use to keep the letters on the brake light surface? Thanks.

scotch makes a two way tape, with a thin foam in the middle. simply stick the letter on one side of the tape and with a exacto knife very carefully[ taking your time ] trace out the shape of the letters. peel off the other side of the tape and stick on, holds really well. when you remove the letters with tooth floss, leave the residue of the letters in place to help guide you with alining the letters back-up on the brake light. start with the [C and the E] to center the word , then the second S, all the rest are just filling in the word. DO NOT USE THE KNIFE ANYWHERE NEAR THE BRAKE LIGHT. you may be tempted to trim a little of the excess tape from the letters, if there is some.BUT DONT!!

Thank you for the information. I need to replace my high brake light as half of the LEDs are dead. Then, I will do what you have done. It looks great.
