just be sure to clean the light lens with alcohol, it will allow the letters to hold better.

Started to move the letters to the brake light... but, I liked the clean look so much I stopped! Love the clean, uncluttered look! Thanks for the idea.

I would like to see what this looks like in the dark with the break light on.

This one is at night with the camera flash off - ends up being too bright for the camera:

This one is with the camera flash - it ends up being closer to what it looks like in person:

It's funny - this was the first time I actually saw what it looks like at night...makes me even more glad that I did it.

I'm going to have to do this one of these days. I really like the look, and it will make waxing the lid much easier.

when i first posted the third brake light lettering. there was some concern over the prescribed surface area left on the lens surface and if it would be a problem at inspection time. i am happy to inform you all that i just got back from the N.J. inspection station and passed with flying colors. i dont even think they were aware of the change. the letters look like they grew there. i also have not had any problems or lost any letters either. the two way tape holds very well. this has to be one of the best and cheapest mods ive done to my car yet i just wanted to bring everyone up to date.
