Yes, excellent, and it's easier to polish the rear deck.

Well, I ran out of beer on the "F". Other than that, I just have to buff the area with Meguiars Ultimate compound to perfect the finish. Can only see anything at certain angles-UV damage.

Check out these threads:

BTW - I debadged my Crossfire yesterday and will be "borrowing" your idea and re-badging it across the center brake light. Thanks for the idea and having the guts to try it out.

Cool Re: Check It Out

Yours looks great....I de-badged my 07 aero limited 6 speed roadster, it looked so good that I didn't want to do the brake light gag...however , I did add Flying "A" custom emblems....Smokin' look, now only you know it's a crossfire...(Pics are posted in my user gallery)

I think that I may do the same soon!

This looks much cleaner. I am thinking of either debadging or rebadging. One of the two!

Very nice. How are you guys going about spacing the letters and gluing them?

I just measured and centered:
S in the middle. C and E on the ends. Centered the rest... O and I. Then the R and S then the F and R.

After removing all traces of the old 3M tape, I cut new squares and used an X-acto knife to cut off the excess. About 1 hour.

Thanks Max. I kinda figured the spacing. Are you setting them on a strip of masking tape and then applying them to keep the spacing? So you are not using glue?

Man if thats all it takes to turn your eyes a little to the roadster, theres a bunch of other really cool stuff that would turn your whole head like the top down and a beauty in the seat beside you!

Sorry, pal! No, I use new squares of 3M tape. I stuck the cleaned letters to them, and then removed the excess with an X-acto knife. Tedious, but simple. When I was all done, I stuck them in place. The 1st poster gave good instructions (earlier in this thread) and I just did the same.
