I was trying to find the drawing posted on the forums of the wrench. After I found out what the price was for this little gizmo I took the drawing to the local high school metal shop teacher and had them make one for me.

There must be a fail safe switch on the trunk lid as well. If my trunk is not totally closed, the top will not go up or down.

Cool Re: Convertible top issues.

If you are having issues with the partition latch, you can put a small piece of Velcro on the latch and the area where the latch gets seated. This is what I did and never had an issue with the latch ever coming out again.

Also if anyone needs the OEM top wrench, I may have an extra one, not really sure where it is at the moment but I know I have one. Once I locate it I will repost and its up for grabs (PM me) and just pay for shipping.

Dibs on the top wrench, if you find it! I may try your solution, though.

Thanks, I bought a 10mm wrench the other day. And a video would be great!

Yes, I'm having problems with my 2006 when the temperature is 80 deegrees and higher. If the top is up it will not go down. If it is in the trunk, it will not rise.
