Default Solved a problem

Hi many of you who have roadsters that have sun damage to the strip that is across the trunk and under the top.

Well a Fellow collector of roadsters and I were talking and he told me to use ArmorAll ultra shine protectant on a part of my dash on my TR6. Well it worked so well I tried it on the Crossfire. See for yourself. Excellent restorer, nice rice color and not shinny.

It took 15 coats so have patience.

Joe

Usually, when it comes to cosmetic products for the car, if it doesn't say Meguir's, I don't use it.

But I had not tried that stuff. I DID have some Turtle Wax Tire stuff, it worked but took many coats and didn't last.

I had been using Griot's long lasting tire stuff and it did work also. Nothing seems to really deal with it once the sun gets to it. Funny how we always seem to learn about things the hard way or too late to stop it from happening in the first place.

I like my solution better, remove the tape strip. Looks much better with the top down and seals just fine with the top up.
