I have to ask why... Or what made it so expensive? I see a complete engine and trans in my area right now for $1500, pulled from a totaled car. It has me thinking......
Engine
new hoses
transmission
drive shaft
Pumpkin
half shafts
when you pull these, best to redo the bearings
POWER steering hoses
fuse block is different
tranmission lines because of the intercooler
different location for secondary air pump with new wiring
THESE ALL HAVE TO COME FROM THE SAME CAR
ECU
TCU
BCM
skreem
key with fob
door lock cylinder
$650-$1000 on eBay
will need to get the ECU flashed to work with the deployed wing or find a fixed wing The ECU from the donar will not register the deployed wing

Thanks, from the sounds of it the guy might have all of this stuff still. Maybe even the whole car.
If it were just the nuts and bolts, it would not be that big of a deal - anyone can turn wrenches and spend the time to make it happen.
But once you get involved with the electronics, THAT is where the real work and money are involved. I also question transplanting ECM, SKREEM, etc. - because if you do that, the electronic VIN changes. Your car has one VIN on the door and under the windshield, but the ECM will have another. When you go in for an emissions inspection, the car wont pass because the VIN in the electronics does not match the title or registration.
The only RIGHT way to do it is to spend the dollars to get Rudy or Josh to do it right.
the easiest way to get the power + a little more of a srt6,,,is to install a aspirated mercedes V8 the ecu is easier to do than limited to srt6.
there have been a few done,,,
