repair work
Where in Michigan can I take my 2005. Drain from water on windshield plugged and it took out fan and I think some electrical. Local repair shop said unable and Mercedes Benz dealership did not want to look at it. Also have leaking hydraulic cylinder for the top. I will have to haul it with car hauler as its undrivable. Anyone want to buy it for $6000 as is 38000 miles on it?

Re: repair work
High speed car wash took out my blower fan. Replacing with Bosch $45 resistor fixed it.
cleaned out 3 firewall cowling drains full of pine needles and tree seeds.
I had no electrical problems though.
start with someone diagnosing your resistor power. A ten to 20 minute fix. Change your air cabin filter.....located right next to the resistor under glove box above passenger knee.

Re: repair work
I'm not in Michigan, But Klay is, I will ask him to chime in. I'm sure he has ideas on shops up that way.
BUT.............................. What do you mean it's not drivable? Does the engine start? Water in that channel does not disable the engine. What is so "undrive able" about it?
If the car won't run, there are 'rescue' guys on here who will pay $1500-3500, but a non-running car is not going to sell for $6000.
Having the cowl vent back up and flood the passenger's floor is a pain, but it's no reason do dump the car. MOST of the time, the audio system amplifier and fan resistor take damage and that's about it.
Again, why do you say you can't drive it?
*DUH - I have a manual, I forget that the Transmission Control Module is down there next to the audio amp in automatics. Yea, water in the TCM would probably make the car go into 'limp' mode, which gives you Park, Reverse and Second gear - only......
