I am in the market for a new top. Have made some minor repairs to the seams since purchasing my roadster last year but now want to start process of replacement.
I did some research and see that BAS tops seem to be preferred here.
it looks like the BAS top doesn’t come with the window (unless I am missing something). I am going to have my new top installed at a shop rather than self perform the work.
I was curious if anyone had suggestions or recommendations for tops that include the window. I have seen a few online but would love to hear from the forum members.

ENOUGH!
You are the third person to say this in the last year. FINALLY, I have GOT to ask two questions:
1) Where does this silliness come from?
2) We replace the top MOST OFTEN due to a failed back window - if the back window was not included, why would we be buying new tops?
Again , WHERE in their literature does it imply in ANY way that there is no window?

I was afraid I would get this response and apologize if this was asked/answered before. I checked as many threads as the search could find.
I have an email into BAS to confirm its included but thank you to yourself and zeracer for letting me know it does. I appreciate the quick responses!
Since you were kind enough to answer me, see below for answers to your questions.
1) Cost - they are 1/2 the cost of most other tops I have seen - other tops in BAS's price range did not come with the window. It doesn't say one way or the other on their website if the window is included - other sites where cost is 2x as much it says on there that it does come with window.
2) I supposed there are some people out there if the window has separated than it could be re-used to save money?
3) Their literature doesn't say anything one way or the other.
Placed an order today I’ll post some before/after pics when it’s installed
8 week lead time just under $1000 with shipping
Mine was $740 delivered to Hurst TExas, but that was in 2018 - before all the inflation an rise in shipping costs.
I think JSK is right, lifetime warranty on the window.
Top received from BAS 3 weeks early. Glass included
I decided to install after watching the videos a few times and reading everything I could find on this forum.
Took me about 4 hours total and I had someone help get the top fed through the frame to get going.
If I had to do it again I would take way more pictures of it coming apart. I spent a good amount of time figuring out how the rubber seals go back on and how the front bar holds everything in place.
Couple pics attached I am very happy with the quality price and customer service from BAS as well as the forum and members here. I doubt I would have tried this without it.
