Drive Shaft Support Bearing and Flex Discs
PART 2 OF 4

This is a large post with a lot of pictures, I can't find a good free photo editor, so I had to break it into 4 parts.

December 5, 2023. I started working on replacing the Flex Discs and the Carrier Bearing (Drive Shaft Support Bearing). I finished everything on December 15, 2023. (multiple projects, life events, house, etc... is why it took so long).
These are pictures of how I did the work on my car. Hopefully they will be useful to others working on their cars.

Great Post, thanks for sharing. They will come in handy to all of us in the future. Can you mention what the symptoms were that made you determine to replace the driveshaft support bearing and flex discs?

Thanks for the kind words, I appreciate it.
I've had no symptoms for any of the work I've done on my car accept for the brakes, which will probably be my next post. They were squealing loudly and like everything else I've replaced, they were the originals.
My car is getting close to 50,000 miles, so I'm doing the maintenance for the mileage. I'm hoping to go to some events this year and I want the car to be road worthy.

Rear Brake Rotor and Pad Replacement (NOT SRT6)
"Braking" News...
Part 1 of 2

December 15 - December 18, 2023. Along with all of the other work I was doing on the car, and other things. I managed to start replacing the brakes.
I replaced the pad's, discs, and hardware. I also painted the splash shields and calipers.
I started with the rear brakes first. Here are pictures of how I did the work on my car.
Sorry for all of the single pictures, I'm still looking for a good (free) collage maker.

Nicely done, and well documented. Thank you for the how to. I was wondering if you had also replaced the parking (emergency) brake pads while you had the rear rotors off. My parking brake pads are worn, and should be replaced, but I was wondering how tough a job it was.
Thanks again, sincerely
-Jerry

Hi Jerry, I appreciate your comment, thank you.
I inspected them while I had everything apart. Luckily the parking brake pads were in good condition and I just cleaned everything up.
I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Rear Spoiler Rear Wing Bushing Replacement
Just winging it!

December 22, 2023.
Svengoolie let me know his battery was low by popping up the wing when I turned the ignition to the on position. We had some very cold weather that week.
While the wing was up I took a look at it. I noticed one of the bushings was falling off and the other was gone. I repaired it on December 29, 2023.
Here's a cheap and easy fix to solve the problem...

Great post! I didn't copy the pictures to this post, very large duplication. Keep on posting!

Thanks!
I tried to shrink them in Microsoft paint. I guess the image size doesn't translate here.

I only mentioned it because some members (when they 'quote' a reply), has all the pictures in the post right above the original one (makes the duplication kinda redundant?). My bad for confusing!

When quoting someone with pictures. you can right click on the pictures and delete them.
Then all you have is what they wrote... without my 8 billion giga bytes of pictures! (I know, I post a lot of pics! LOL)

I agree, the only time you may want to keep a photo is when it is relevant to your answer.

Rear Brake Hose Replacement
What a hoser!

January 1, 2024, New Years Day.
I replaced all 4 brake hoses on Svengoolie. I was doing as much as I could while the car was still up on jack stands.
Here are some pictures with captions of how I changed my brake hoses.
