Default 19/20 inches wheels

I'm looking forward to get some aftermarket wheels for my srt6, but I'm wondering if the 19's in the front and 20's in the back fit well for a stock crossfire.

Hopefully I can get some info from those who actually have 19/20's because I don't want to make any other modifications other than the wheels.

So if anyone can tell me if the new rims and tires make any change to the turning ratio, or any other input.

Thanks a lot!!!

Although I don't have AF wheels on my car (I love the stock SRT-6 wheels), I've had many other vehicles with custom wheels and tires. I wouldn't worry too much about turning ratios and etc. as long as you keep the same wheel diameter. If you plus size the wheels, the overall wheel diameter will stay the same if you size the tires correctly. Wheel size goes up, tire wall height goes down. Get it? What you would notice more is the ride quality. These cars already ride a bit rough. If you increase wheel size and put a thinner wall tire on the car, it will most likely ride even rougher.

No problems as long as you don't lower your springs. Check out my cardomain or gallery for photos.

I went with a 20x9.5 35mm in the rear and a 19x8.5 25mm in the front and had it lowered with the Eibach kit, and ran a spacer in the rear. I traded it In so all i have is the pictures of it at the dealership but I hope it helps. Watch your tire height though that’s where you run into problems. Cyril can tell you that. There was a great thread on how his tires were getting eaten up and a bolt that you may need to shave. You do not want to run anything bigger then a 35 in the rear and a 25 in the front. Call discount tire they will tell you the largest you can go with those rims.

What did you trade it in for Jonny?

Personally I was thinking of going to 19s and 20s, but than decided to stick with stock sizes... you can check out iforged.com they offer some beautiful designs... they offer very many sizes with very many widths, custom lips and other things... can't speak for it's quality yet though as I have not received the rims yet...

Your springs are lowered though aren't they? Says you have H&Rs.

I have the H&R cup kit and though it works fine with the stock wheels even when lowered, the 19's and 20's are a pain in the @$$ as it rubs on the wheel well!

I have the 19's and 20's in my SRT-6 now without lowering the springs and it works just great!

I'm also interested in those wheel/tire/spacer specs as those look just about perfect!

No need to lower the car when they fit that well!

No problems with 19 fronts and 20 rears and eibach springs. I only get front rubbing while turning into a ramped driveway or reversing.

Front 19*8 ET 32; 2 inch lip; tire 235/35/19
Rear 20*10 ET 25; 3.5 inch lip; tire 285/30/20

There was nothing for it I was tired of reading how all you SRT6 owners were looking to mod and get almost 400 hp out of the engine and at the time no one knew of a supercharging kit for almost three years besides Renntech for the limited So... I picked an SRT6 in graphite I must say I wish I would have just bought one right off the start. Best decision I ever made was to get something I really wanted in the first place.

Hey guys thanks for the info I think I will stick to the stock wheel size. I don't want to do any other mods or get a rough ride. By the way I love that aero blue w/the black rims I thinking about giving my car a similar look.
