yes HELP ME HELP ME lol its three in the morning here and i have my speakers as loud as they will go and that is defiantly the sound. Question is what is it and how do I fix it?

 

It's a warning chime that activates when the rear wing has not deployed... It's buried inside the instrument cluster... Funny thing is that the instrument cluster is the only thing remaining inside my car... It activates on my car at about 95-100 mph... It used to bug the crap out of me too until I started using it to gauge my speed on the track...

that is the question they said they didnt **** with my car at all only the rear hatch. I'm starting to get really pissed off at dealers messing with these cars cause they have no idea what their doing. IT shouldnt be a game of finally an srt comes in now lets get the computer out and **** with it.

 

They decided after being on the phone with the engineers for 2 hours, my car thinks it in a different country for that is the law to beep and give you a heads up that your going over a certian speed dont ask me which country no idea. It is set for the US in the computer and still all messed up. I dont know kinda sounds ligit to me anyway add a new cluster to the list.

 

So my post on a wrong computer setting doesn't seem so far off then I guess. They should check to make sure it is looking for SRT codes not regular.

 

Yeah i would say you and HDDP were right on It just weird that it taught itself i dont understand that....

Funny story I guess i will share I brought it in for the rear hatch tsb and just thought I would see if they would fix everything else while i was in there So i mentioned a clicking noise in the cd player so they ordered me a new one. I mentioned the headliner looked stained from water got a new one. there was a smell coming from the heated seat so they replaced it.I mentioned both of my headlights looked foggy from de-lamination, they said only one looked bad they weren't going to replace them both. Well i get a call that they ordered the wrong one had it installed already so looks like i am going to get both headlights replaced. And last but not least a new cluster lol thats a lot of **** for coming in for a loud rear hatch. lol hopefully get it Tuesday but i bet it will be snowing by then. Which sucks cause i still have two more steps of waxing to go and i really don't want to wash it again.

 

where are you located and have you driven it in the snow before? just curious

 

Nope never seen a winter it was in storage but I wanted the work done before next summer. I live in Minnesota

you guys have it all wrong... its pretty simple... the 85mph chime is just a warning that u'r coming up on 88mph... and we all know that when you hit 88mph you go back in time!



Just make sure u'r flux capacitor is working correctly!

 

I can't believe this is happening right now but I got a pt loser for the rental and in the center there is a clock. Under the clock is a button that makes the time go forward all the way around. LOL when we were in the car driving to the bars we asked the girls in the back if they would like to time travel with us. We would need to go 88 and have extra flux capasitors and we were running on banannas for fuel. Once i hit 88 my buddy Dan pretended like his was pointing at the clock to show them we were going back in time (really pressing the button) lol too funny that you posted that
