Also, are you testing with and without the teflon? I'm curious as to the benefit of the teflon coating.

Rob:

What are the options for logos? Will they come standard with anything on them at all? Personally I would like the standard SRT6 raised lettering on top, just like the stock ones. That way the mechanic at the dealership won't notice the difference.

I don't think the Chevy dealership would notice anything. LOL.

I can deal with the dash if the lawyer doesn't give the go ahead for just srt6.

I can deal with a dash.

The closest look to stock is what I'm looking for (sleeper style)

btw, THERE ARE DESIGNED TO BE USED WITH OUR CAI, they are NOT designed to be used with the stock airbox nor the sl55 airbox. you may be able to retrofit those on but our mani's are wider then the stock mani's so be forewarned.

No big deal PA, this will just give you a reason to step up to a real CAI.

ya sorry about that, if you wanted to send us the sl55 setup we can try and see how close it would be on our test motor

You might be able to take the sl55 intake, lengthen the sections on each side of the T about 2-3 inches and it fit. Maybe a custom coupler or something.

Just a hunch.

When mounting the SL55 intake there is not a lot of room to move it out away from the TB. It runs into the heat shielding. The passenger side box touches the heat shielding now on mine.

If PA / Xfire opts out I could be convinced to join. Is this mod overkill on a stock engine or will I see performance benefits regardless? I would hate to kill the low end. Any educated guesses?
