With that much of a flow increase, I'm guessing we will be seeing less boost due to lower backpressure after the supercharger, but more power due to higher volume. This is a good thing since I already hit MAP limit. This might require a retune for best results (doesn't everything) due to the fact that fuel delivery is largely based on manifold pressure, and more air at a lower pressure might be deceiving to the ECU.

This mod sounds like it will make for some big power gains!

LOL, I am in the same boat. I was going to get my exhaust and wideband done in the next couple weeks, but once these hit regular price it'll hurt so much more forking over that much.

I might be in on this too. I would really like to see some HP numbers from an engine with a supercharger or crank pulley and CAI.

If these intake manifolds could be chilled from a constant DC power source, how much would that help ?

Damn, I was hoping this would be in the 3 digit range.

Rob, will you or have you done any dyno testing with your current mods? Will you be ecu dyno tuning to see if that makes a difference? I would imagine these work great with all the mods, but an ecu tune might make a big difference.

Thanks!

With this mod would a custom tune be imperative? I would think so. Until more information is available, put me down as only interested.

I too would be interested in knowing what would need to be done for these to function at an optimal level. I'm trying to convice myself to pony up, I just don't want to be "surprised" when it leads to other changes that need to be made.

Guys what mod isn't optimized without a tune? Yes a tune will get you the most bang for the buck on this mod or any mod. The good news is that everyone who used inmotion gets a free retune according to the custom tune offer. Jerrytune may have the same option, not sure. I did ask one time but didn't get answered. This is probably the biggest mod were going to have.

I already have the same Inmotion tune that Rob had with the prototype manifolds so I'm ready to go. Mod money is tight right now though. It sucks because I have been waiting months for these and they could push me into the 11's. Put me down and I guess I'll find a way to work them in my budget, especially before they go full price.

the manifolds are moving enough air to lean out a stock calibrations. the new tune is already dialed in thru inmotion, once i get these back from the teflon ill have the last piece to the puzzle pricewise, ill also make sure the teflon doesnt require tweaking to the tune.
